I have been using Dreamhost for several years and I build and run a lot of websites on the account as they allow multiple sites. Last week my account disabled by Dreamhost. This is absolutely incredible and I’m really shocked at this and I have all my sites down, I have lost all my databases, files, scripts (including my scripts for this blog) and this could take me weeks to get them back online at another host.
My account has been disabled without warning. I certainly do not engage in activities pertaining to Black Hat SEO, Spamdexing etc.
Now I’m trying to collect cached articles from Google cache and trying to republish those articles

Oh no!! I hope you can get it all back!! That must be awful! Are you having any luck with Google and retrieving your articles?
Try liquidweb, they have been excellent. I have probably 30 or more sites with them, I’ve never had any down time (that I’m aware of) and they have great customer service.

I am really sorry for you. It is really bad to get all lost files. I suggest you to use a better hosting company which has good backup facility.

I suggest you try webhost4life.com, my account was expired several months ago, I didn’t hope they would still keep my website files, but yes, my website was restored in timely manner via their live chat support when I came back, it’s amazing!! but my website content has been out of date, I need to update it though.
