How to Bypass Rapidshare Waiting Time
Some people want to know how to download files from Rapidshare with Universal Share Downloader without waiting 60 or more minutes. Is there solutions to cutting down the waiting time ?
This Rapidshare waiting time happened because rapidshare uses your IP to remember that your computer has downloaded something. Basically you can bypass the waiting time if you have a dynamic IP address by disconnecting your computer from the internet (including router if you use one). If you got dynamic IP address, then just use modem reconenction batch (for dial-up users). After you install USDownloader & Cap OCR or AntiCaptch you install this. USD will work with your dial-up to auto disconnect/reconnect your connection resetting your IP address for such file servers like Rapidshare, or you can use routercontrol (Curl Router Reconnect) a little tool which make a batch script who use Curl to disconnect/reconnect your router. You have to only select your router from the list and fill your IP, user and password.
How do i check if my IP address is dynamic ?
First check your current IP address (you can use http://www.ip-adress.com or other free online IP tool ). Try to shut down your router/Connection. Wait 1-2 min. then reconnect it and check your IP again. If IP was changed then you have dynamic IP address.
A static IP address means you cannot change it, a Dynamic one means that everytime you reset your connection you are assigned a new one
Note, some adsl require more than 1-2 mins. to really change the IP.
If you have a static IP : you will have to use proxies, which is basically connecting your computer to the internet through another computer, so your IP appears to have changed and rapidshare will let you download again. Most people gave up on proxies after they tried it for a while because it is so slow.
What shall i do with the proxies, what do i have to change to get the waiting time down ?
All you have to do is go to proxy list site(s) like http://proxy-list.org/ and once you bring up the current proxy list you will see the proxies as numbers, for example 200.65.127.161:80
Go into USD and go to options, then HTTP proxy then enter that number into the address field, note the :80 at the end of the number will have to go in the box after the address field. Click apply, then as far as I known you will be able to download from rapidshare using this proxy. Connecting through proxies takes ages to get your download though. You need fresh and working proxies.
